Install IB Player Pro on your TV

Follow these simple steps with your TV remote. It takes about 5 minutes, and you only do it once.

Before you start

  • Fire TV, Android TV or Google TVconnected to the internet

    Turn on Developer options

    Open Settings (the gear icon) → My Fire TV → About. Select your device name (for example “Fire TV Stick 4K”) 7 times until you see “You are now a developer”. Press Back.

    If you already see “Developer options” under My Fire TV, skip this step.

    Install the free Downloader app

    Press Home, open Find → Search and type Downloader. Choose Downloader (orange icon, by AFTVnews) and select Get or Download.

    Allow Downloader to install apps

    Go back to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options → Install unknown apps, select Downloader and switch it ON.

    On older Fire TV models this is called Apps from Unknown Sources → Turn On.

    Open Downloader

    Open the Downloader app. If it asks to access your files, choose Allow. Close the quick tips with OK.

    Enter the IB Player Pro code

    On the Home tab, select the box “Enter a URL or Search Term”, type 2817724 with the on-screen keyboard and press Go. The download starts straight away.

    Install IB Player Pro

    When the download finishes, select Install. When it says “App installed”, choose Done.

    Delete the installation file

    Downloader offers to delete the file you downloaded. Choose Delete twice: the app stays installed and your TV keeps its storage free.

    Open IB Player Pro

    Press and hold Home → Apps and select IB Player Pro. Tip: press the Menu ≡ button on it and choose Move to front so it's always on your home screen.

    Start watching

    Start your free trial or sign in. To add your playlist, scan the QR code with your phone, or go to My account → TVs & Devices and enter the MAC address and key shown on your TV.

That's it — IB Player Pro is installed

Updates are easy: open Downloader, enter 2817724 again and select Install. IB Player Pro is a media player only — you add your own playlist; no channels or content are included.

Having trouble?

I can’t find “Developer options” or “Install unknown apps”.

Do step 1 again: open About and select your device name (Fire TV) or “Android TV OS build” (Android TV) 7 times. Then go back one screen — the option appears.

Downloader says it can’t download the file.

Check that your TV is connected to the internet and that you typed the code exactly. You can also type the web address shown on this page instead of the code.

It says “App not installed”.

Your TV may be low on storage: delete apps you don’t use and try again. If you have an older copy of IB Player Pro, uninstall it first.

Where is the app after installing?

On Fire TV hold Home → Apps (it’s at the end of the list). On Android TV / Google TV open Apps → See all apps.

How do I update the app later?

Open Downloader and enter the same code again, then Install. Your account, playlists and settings stay as they are.

Is Downloader safe?

Yes. Downloader is a popular free app from the Amazon Appstore and Google Play. It only downloads the file from the address you enter — here, our official IB Player Pro download.
