Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about installing, activating and using IB Player Pro.
Does IB Player Pro provide channels or playlists?
No. IB Player Pro is a media player only — we don't host, provide, or sell any channels, playlists, or content. You add a playlist you already have from your own IPTV provider.
What playlist formats are supported?
M3U / M3U8 links and Xtream Codes logins (server URL, username, password). Most provider links work out of the box.
How do I add a playlist?
Install the app and open it to see your MAC Address and 6-digit Device Key. Go to Manage Playlists on this portal, enter those details, and add your M3U or Xtream playlist — it syncs to your TV instantly.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every new install includes a free trial. After it ends you can activate the app for 12 months or a one-time lifetime licence.
How do I activate my device?
Open the Activate page, enter your MAC Address, and choose Lifetime (one-time) or 12 Months. Once payment is confirmed, your device is activated automatically.
Which devices are supported?
Amazon Fire TV, Android TV / Google TV, Samsung (Tizen) and LG (webOS), with more platforms on the way.
Does it support EPG, Movies and Series?
Yes — Live TV with a now/next EPG guide, plus Movies and Series with full info pages and season/episode lists.
I get buffering or “stream unavailable”. What can I do?
This usually points to the provider or your connection. Try a different stream, check your playlist hasn't expired, and make sure your network is stable. The player auto-recovers from most temporary drops.
